In spite of the very long half life of amiodarone and the complexity  
of its excretion, we are also used to reduce the dose progressively  
until we reach 1,000 mg per week, i.e. not taking it on weekends.  
Thus, we have lower plasmatic levels and lower incidence of secondary  
effects, well delineated, and exposed, and thank you for reminding us.
