Thank you for your suggestion, Dr. Vidal. I hope to restart his
aspirin in low doses since next week, considering that even though he
takes proton pump inhibitors, I'm scared by the idea of restarting it
to soon after the last hospitalization, which forced us to several
transfusions (his hemoglobin lowered to 4 mg/dl). As to warfarin, I
have definitely ruled it out of the case.
