1.What do specialists think of the approaches to use heart rate

variability (HRV) in patients with chronic AF, to assess the severity

of the clinical state of the patient (for instance, the degree of

"chronotropic incompetence" in AF with low ventricular response) and

the effectiveness of antiarrhythmic treatment.

2.Does it make any sense to include HRV indicators in the standard

evaluation of a patient with AF, along with the parameters generally

used (characteristics of the arrhythmia, duration of pauses, etc.)?
