We have come to the end of this Internet Symposium, packed with
lectures, clinical cases, and webcasts at an extremely high level. We
also have had a multitude of digital conversations with participants
from around the world, and responses provided by our exceptional and
experienced guest colleagues. This type of direct and spirited contact
about specific topics - the most important are real patient issues that
are the focus of what we do-- enables the exchange of ideas among the
participants, investigators and experts, something very difficult to do
at many conventional conferences. As usual, ISHNE is pleased to be able
to organize this unique and distinct academic event, by which we make a
contribution to continuing and long distance international medical
education. We would like to thank Drs. Arthur Moss, William Abraham,
Panos Vardas and John Cleland, Honorary Co-Chairmen of this symposium,
Dr. Andres Perez Riera who played a key role in coordination, all the
lecturers who provided content, all the colleagues who provided
questions and answers at a professional level, and of course to all the
participants who have triggered all the interesting clinical and
academic exchanges. We would also like to express our gratitude to our
entire support team who behind the scenes make this technically
challenging event possible. Finally, we would also like to thank
Medtronic, and specially its LA manager, Hugo Fagioli, for providing an
unrestricted educational grant. From all of us to all of them and you,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We also eagerly anticipate our next effort on
Hypertension and Atrial Fibrillation III, coming soon. And if you are
planning to attend Orlando next week, please joint us in our live
symposium "Identification and management of High risk post AMI patients"
that will be held in the Orange County Convention Center, Room W312,
Sections A/B/C on Saturday, March 29, 2009, from 1.30pm to 4 p.m.
.
Sincerely,
Jonathan, Angelo, Sergio and Ed
