从现实来讲，由于他害怕应用抗凝治疗，因而拒绝使 
用。事实的确如此，抗凝治疗仅仅是治疗的一种选择 
之一，尽管他的年龄需要。所以我更建议他服用阿司 
匹林，虽然其防止中风的作用相对少一些。

Dear colleague,

As a matter of fact, his refusal may be, because of his fear of managing
the anticoagulants. It is true, that an anticoagulant is the therapy of
choise, despite of his age. I would suggest the recommendation of taking
aspirine, as a minimal protection from strokes.
