开幕致辞

亲爱的各位同仁：

国际动态心电图及无创电生理协会再次荣幸地通过互 
联网实时地开启第二届ISHNE心房颤动国际论坛。

第二届世界心房颤动国际论坛距第一届举行已经18个 
月了，在这段时间里关于这一主题的新认识不断地涌 
现，针对其的理解也逐渐的加深。该论坛的举行势必 
会激起心血管和互联网医学的极大兴趣，扩大对房颤 
这一心律失常的重视范围和程度。

自2005年十月以来，我学会还组织了心力衰竭和心脏 
性猝死论坛，凭借互联网，到2006年十月，使得前述 
的第一届房颤论坛由来自94个国家的7,245名参与者增 
加至123个国家的14,087名人员。我们预计本届盛会的注 
册人数将达到15,000到20,000人。

相对于已经参加过前面那些会议的同道来说，新加入 
的医生是第一次通过这样的方式参与进来，在这里我 
们向他们致以温馨的问候，欢迎大家！

我们所取得的成绩不仅仅是数字化的：一些新的沟通 
工具也被引入，比如网络视频，通过RSS系统的实时双 
语更新， 5种语言的论坛（英语，西班牙语，葡萄牙 
语，俄语，以及汉语），该次会议的绝大部分内容都 
被翻译成上述5种语言，其中一些论文还被翻译为法 
语。

圣犹达医学基金会的赞助使这项会议成为可能，同时 
我们也诚挚的向广大专业翻译和口译人员，网络专 
家，图像设计人员，影音专家表示深切地谢意，他们 
的幕后工作确保了会议的成功。

经过这些简短的介绍以后，我们正式宣布本届论坛开 
幕！

Dear colleagues,

The International Society for Holter and NonInvasive  
Electrocardiology is proud to once again, meet "virtually" to start  
the sessions of the Second WorldWide ISHNE Symposium on Atrial  
Fibrillation through the Internet.

Eighteen months after the First Atrial Fibrillation WorldWide  
Internet Symposium was held, we are carrying out this second event,  
completely certain that new knowledge had been generated on this  
topic, which awake a great interest for cardiology and internal  
medicine, given the great prevalence of this arrhythmia.
Over these 18 months since October 2005, our Society also organized  
the Symposia on Heart Failure and Sudden Cardiac Death, held through  
the Internet, and which enabled a growth in participation from the  
7,254 colleagues from 94 countries in the abovementioned First AF  
Symposium, to 14,087 registrants from 123 countries in October 2006 
[1], and we are expecting between 15,000 and 20,000 registrants for  
this event.

To all of you who have participated in some of the prior events, new  
colleagues are joining, who for the first time participate in a  
meeting with these features, and to whom we offer a warm welcome.

The growth we have experienced is not just numerical: new  
communication tools have been added since then, such as webcast  
videos, automatic bibliographic updates through the RSS system, t  
here are 5 language forums (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian,  
and Chinese), and most activities are translated into these  
languages, and some papers will also be translated into French.

The St. Jude Medical Foundation has made this scientific meeting  
possible, and we sincerely thank them and extend our gratefulness to  
the large team of professional translators and interpreters, network  
specialists, graphic designers, video and sound specialists, who make  
our event successful from behind the scenes.

With these brief words, we open the deliberations of this Symposium.
